As a cot that weighs “under five pounds,” this cot is a favorite among parents for air travel and hotel stays since it “fits great in a checked bag.” Reviewers also praised its versatility, citing its ability to be used for overnights at the grandparents, next to mom and dad’s bed during a thunderstorm, and even as a makeshift spot for watching TV. Despite not having enough beds, we bought this cot for our summer vacation.
Best wooden toddler bed with rails
This “simple, clean-looking” bed is loved by reviewers from the moment it is assembled to the first night of sleep. One buyer noted, “I searched high and low for a cute, nontoxic, wood bed – and this one fit the bill.”. The bed is easy to assemble and sturdy: “I tested it by sitting and standing on it (my weight is 167 lbs) and it didn’t even squeak.” Many parents appreciated the low rise of the Toddler House Bed (“He has occasionally rolled out of bed,” one dad notes, “But it’s so low he actually stayed asleep!”).

Despite its sturdy construction, parents say this “sleek and modern” bed doesn’t squeak or creak: “No squeaking or creaking like the old bed,” says one dad. Designed to blend seamlessly with “real” furniture, this “very grown up” piece has “great, classic design.” According to enthusiastic owners, it was “extremely sturdy” and remained that way following assembly (which is “super easy” thanks to “clearly labeled pieces and good instructions”). Despite kids jumping on it constantly and adults sitting on it every day, one reviewer commented, “It’s remained sturdy.”

The benefits of this very adult kids bed can be summarized as follows: “You get a lightweight, sturdy, classy toddler bed that can accommodate a toddler (25 pounds), a mother (120 pounds), and a baby (10 pounds). The bed handles her toddler’s jumping just fine. Other parents praise its “pretty darn solid” construction and “pretty damn easy assembly – it took me about 20 minutes.” The kids seem equally enthusiastic: “She never slept in her crib, but slept in this bed the first night!”
